Are performance upgrades legal in NSW?
Many bolt-on upgrades are fine within the NSW light vehicle modification rules; others — like significant suspension height changes — need certification. We tell you before any work which category your plans fall into, and as an inspection station we know exactly what gets looked at come rego time.
What should I upgrade first?
It depends what you're chasing — towing performance, reliability, sound or outright power. The honest answer is often not the shiniest part: a tired clutch or worn suspension undoes any gain. We look at the whole car and build a plan in stages that suit your budget.
Do intake and exhaust upgrades actually make a difference?
On their own, modest gains — the real value comes when intake, exhaust and tuning are matched as a package. That's why we quote upgrades as a combination rather than selling parts one at a time.
Can you upgrade my 4WD for touring and towing?
Yes — suspension kits rated for the load you actually carry, clutch upgrades for heavy towing, intake and exhaust for the turbo diesel, and tuning to bring it together. Tell us the trips you do and we'll set the vehicle up for them.
